Greetings internet dwellers! The week of Scare Zone reveals continued yesterday with Masquerade: Dance With Death. The zone will feature vampires whom are in disguise at a masquerade ball. Today's zone, is a bit... different. The Cat Lady Of Crooked Lane, is described as follows: "Travel down a spooky winding path to a mysterious home, where trick-or-treaters are transformed into feral felines. Be careful or you’ll be next." This is probably one of the strangest concepts for a zone to come out of A&D in a while. It seems abstract, and well, weird. I like it. If I had to take a guess, this seems ripe for the Central Park area. The prep work going on around Central Park, seems to fit what is being pitched here. The zone seems to extend into the rotunda area of Dreamworks Land, with a stage and truss system set-up, near the front of the Animal Actor's Stage. It would be a delight if we actually got the pumpkins back in the trees of Central Park. The idea of seeing a cabin of sorts at the end of Central Park as you walk towards it, would fit the description well, I think. That's it for now. Topher out.

Greetings internet dwellers!
With a little over a month to go before opening night, and all but two houses left to announce, HHN has decided to drop details on the first Scare Zone. The Origins of Horror, appears to be leaning into the Gothic conservatory theme of the event. The Scare Zone is described as follows: "Enter a decaying conservatory of twisted vines where artists carve tributes to Halloween Horror Nights 34. You’ll encounter monstrous crows, gargoyles and more." One down, and now we wait for more. Topher out. Greetings internet dwellers! After a bit of a hint last night, HHN has released Frequent Fear Passes for purchase. Rumors have been swirling about weather the passes would include Express or not. Well, turns out, last year's practice of limiting capacity on adding Express to the tickets was the plan all along. The Express add-on lasted a whole 45 minutes before they sold out. In addition, Halloween Horror Nights has revealed that Art The Clown will be coming to HHN this year with Terrifier. Since the original film was released, fans have wanted the property to come to the event. "Nothing can prepare you for this grisly haunted house based on all three of Damien Leone's Terrifier films. Try your luck against the sadistic Art the Clown in his twisted funhouse. Witness Art’s gleefully grotesque handiwork of torture. You’ll be left literally dripping with terror and drenched with fear. It’s a whole new level of gore!" One of the concerns I have heard about Terrifier coming as a house, is whether or not the event can pull off the amount of gore required or not. It seems they are leaning into the gore in the description. If they pull it off enough to satisfy fans, is another thing. That being said, we only have 2 houses left to announce. Topher out. |
