Birthday parties are usually reserved for families and friends, especially one as special as a sweet 16. In the case of Halloween Horror Nights, their family is a little... different. To celebrate its sixteenth anniversary, Horror Nights decided to bring their Icons together for the first time ever to celebrate. Jack, The Caretaker, The Director and The Storyteller, all came out for the festivities. For the first time in four years, Horror Nights would return solely to its original home at Universal Studios Florida too.

​Sweet Sixteen also offered guests one of their first true glimpses at Cindy, The Caretaker's daughter, in the house Screamhouse: Resurrection. An old friend, Robosaurus, would also come out to celebrate as he had not been seen in quite some time. The whole event was meant to feel like a return to the classic days of Halloween Horror Nights. Even the Dungeon of Terror made a return.
