COMMENTSWhile Dawn of Justice may not be the perfect masterpiece DC fans were hoping for, it sure is entertaining. Director Zack Snyder, has literally lifted from the comic book page in parts, and in many ways, has made something that some may consider too ambitious. The film does make some choices which viewers are going to either buy, or sell. One does have to applaud Warner Bros., for even having the balls to do some of the things they do within the film. For better, or worse. However, accompanied by some gorgeous cinematography, a rousing score, great special effects, Ben Affleck's Batman, and the sheer joy of seeing childhood icons live and in living color on the screen, Dawn of Justice Succeeds. Parts of the film do suffer from a weaker screenplay than others, and it has some weird editing choices; but the film rides a line which it mostly stays on. It's a fun time, and sets up the DC Cinematic Universe nicely.
