DATE: 11/3/17 TITLE: THOR: RAGNAROK DIRECTOR: TAIKA WAITITI STARRING: CHRIS HEMSWORTH, TOM HIDDLESTON, TESSA THOMPSON, CATE BLANCHETT, JEFF GOLDBLUM, MARK RUFFALO COMMENTSThor: Ragnarok may not be the best made MCU film. However, it's probably one of its more entertaining entries. Ragnarok has jokes. Lots of 'em. Sometimes they hit, and other times they don't. The parts where Thor: Ragnarok suffered for me the most, was when it was a Marvel movie. When it's a Taika Waititi film, it's a blast. It's colorful, fun and engaging. Although sometimes, the film drags along its bloated middle section. However, enter Ruffalo's talking Hulk, to save the day. I can't wait to see his interaction with the rest of the Avengers, later on down the road. Performances are solid, despite a little bit too hammy of a performance by, Cate Blanchett. It's nice to see Hiddleston, have some solid screen time here as well. And Jeff Goldlum, is a hoot. All in all, Thor: Ragnarok is a fun entry in the MCU. Albeit, perhaps a little bit of an empty entry.
