Freddy Vs. Jason it is! Our first house confirmed for this year! Universal Orlando announced via their blog, that HHN XXV will bring the two horror titans back to the event. This time, they will take inspiration from the 2003 film. The blog goes on to say that: "This house holds something for everyone. The casual fan will be immersed in the environments and the scares. The uber fan will have the opportunity to scout out the multitude of Easter eggs hidden through out the house." The house promises to transport guests into the world's of both horror titan's. Which goes without saying, Camp Crystal Lake, and Elm Street. Now, this isn't the first time Freddy and Jason have bee at the event. They of course were featured in Jack's Carnival of Carnage back in 2007. So, it's like a reunion of sorts? I'm sure more info will be released in time. I for one, am very excited for this house. They should have done this before Alien VS. Predator IMO. Also, tickets went on sale for the event. You can grab them at HalloweenHorrorNights.com. Greetings internet dwellers! As we push on awaiting our first house announcement (should be very imminent), the house construction permits continue to reveal themselves. We also now know that the Shrek 4-D spare theater, will be the new location I mentioned a while back. How they do it, we will have to wait and see. I generally don't update on the construction permits, but I know some of you all are ravenous about them. So, we know seven of the house locations thus far. Everything is generally par for the course with these, minus the Shrek 4-D theater. PERMITS FILED FOR: Shrek Theater Parade Building Sprung Tent 1 Disaster Queue Soundstage 22 Soundstage 24A Soundstage 21 Keep in mind, things can still change. I've seen stranger things happen. Hasta la bye-bye for now. Greetings internet dwellers! HHN XXV construction is in full swing, and I managed to snap a few photos of the Disaster! overflow queue house construction. Obviously it is just some walls, however, it seems the design team may be toying with some of us. You may recall that last year, in the same house, the team threw up what appeared to be a clown arm which hung over the top of the construction walls. It seems they took a page from last year's playbook, as they have propped up what appears to be a multicolored stuffed animal on top of the wall. Now, last year Giggles & Gore was in the Disaster! spot, but could the toy be a diversionary tactic by the design team to throw off what could be in there? It's possible I suppose. The toy may not have anything to do with what is actually in there. I would also like to address taking photos of Horror Nights construction. I do NOT shoot things that I can not see, as a normal guest. So, you won't find Sprung Tent photos, and things of that nature. I get a little uncomfortable shooting stuff in the Disaster! queue as it is. So as we move forward, just keep that in mind. Hasta la bye-bye for now. |
