They teased it last night, and made it official this morning. Chance, Jack's right hand girl, will return to the event this year, but this time as host. The Universal Blog goes into detail about what to expect from Chance, and how things have evolved from last year. 

"For us, Halloween Horror Nights 26 literally takes place where we left off. The aftermath of the carnage is still fresh and Chance finds herself incarcerated for the crimes of last year. With the “Jack in the Box” on an evidence shelf somewhere waiting for someone to turn the crank once more, Chance bides her time within her cell.But this is not a tragedy for her. This prison is a toy box. It’s within the confines of her cell that she enters her horrific “theatre of the mind”. She knows that the acts committed inside her mind will manifest in the real. Both equally deranged and gothically beautiful."

The blog also mentions two distinct looks for Chance. That should be interesting. It gives before and after examples. HHN also released a video, with Chance. You can see that below.

In one of the silentest announcements ever, HHN Orlando dropped a passing Tweet about the property returning this year. While it should come as no surprise The Walking Dead is returning, the approach here is quite funny,

Universal Hollywood has their permanent attraction now, so no dual announcement from Hollywood this year either. HHN Orlando, was left pretty much alone here. No build up to an announcement of any sort either. 

The house is said to encompass all six seasons of the hit AMC show. This is something that is a bit unique for the property, as past houses have focused on the current season, or past two seasons. Hershel's barn, Terminus, Woodbury and The Prison, are some of the locations we will encounter again.

Safe to say, The Walking Dead is a little controversial these days. While I agree that perhaps now is a bit too much, I don't mind it at the event. The show is still immensely popular and until it stops being profitable, it will probably still be around. Just make a good house is all I ask.
