Greetings internet dwellers! Well, opening weekend for Halloween Horror Nights 27, has come to a close. My first impressions of the event, are quite good. There were obvious delays because of Irma. Because of that, some things are incomplete. However, what is there, is really rather solid. So far, HHN 27 is off to a strong start. Irma interruptions aside, it's a strong year. Lots of good stuff going on in the houses and streets. The delays, did little to hinder the good. While not everything can be perfect, what's good is very good. I like what I'm seeing so far this year. I did a Facebook Chatcast earlier, going into much detail about opening weekend. For those who do not wish to hear me speak, here is an updated ranking of the houses and scare zones: HOUSES 1. The Fallen 2. Dead Waters 3. Scarecrow: The Reaping 4. Ash Vs Evil Dead 5. American Horror Story 6. Saw 7. The Shining 8. Hive 9. The Horrors of Blumhouse SCARE ZONES 1. The Purge 2. Invasion! 3. Trick 'r Treat 4. Festival of the Deadliest 5. Altars of Horror I still have not seen Bill & Ted, and that's by design. Perhaps if I get a chance, I will catch it this weekend. I hope that the stage is repaired for Academy of Villains. While they killed it with their temp show, I really want to see the legit one. All in all, I like the event so far. It's definitely stronger than last year. I will be able to get a better gauge, come this weekend. Hopefully, all the stuff that was delayed because of Irma, will all be fixed. Anyway, until next week, all! Comments are closed.
