Greetings internet dwellers! Well, it's time. After a LONG pre-season, Halloween Horror Nights 27 kicks off tonight! Of course, we all know the employee preview was held on Wednesday. I never pay any attention to EP. It's a dress rehearsal; good or bad chatter about what was seen, should not be taken to heart. Ever. I'm glad they were able to keep the Superbloggers out of the preview this year. I think that could have been very bad, especially this year. It's obvious that because of the unwanted Florida tourist that was Irma, HHN may be a bit behind in things. Hell, I myself, have been behind in things because of Irma. I'm already seeing people complain about the archway. Complaining about the archway, is nothing new to fanboys (see here). They were freaking out because nothing was decorated Thursday morning. They did put up their typical decorations late last night though. I also heard some people complain about the lack of stuff in the streets during employee preview. It's obvious they got a bit behind because of Irma. People just need to calm a bit. We just had a hurricane blow through. It's a borderline miracle that nothing of significance was destroyed during the storm (I'm looking at you Horrors of Blumhouse Clearspan tent). They also were not able to do that final post Rock the Universe push this year. Things had to be taken away because of Irma. They had to concentrate on getting things out and ready again, for Employee Preview. In 1 day. Then put on employee preview. With 1 day in between the official start of the event. The folks who put on the event are good, but not that good. Needless to say, opening weekend may be a bit off the mark here and there. As the patient person that I am, I will reserve full judgment of the event until next weekend. I usually give them a week of leeway anyway, however, I will give them a bit extra this year. I will still report on opening weekend, and give my thoughts as usual. However, I may not be as critical on things. Scareactor rehearsal time, was also cut in half because of Irma. As I tend to say, it is what it is. Anyway, you can expect me to do the normal things. Updates every week, photos, videos, live streams, when I can. Last year I missed a couple of those, but I will try and do more if I have the time. I try not to let my enjoyment at the event, get in the way of HHN Legacy all the time. It's a delicate balance. After all, it's all about having fun. If you missed my Youtube hype list, here it is: For those who wish to not sit through the video, here is a typed reminder of my hype list:
