Greetings internet dwellers!
Got my camera back a few days ago. By some sheer miracle, I had a Saturday off, so I decided to head down to Mardi Gras for the first time in eight years. I must say, it was very disorganized and crowded. We still had a good time, but Universal needs to do something about communicating with their staff. I didn't care about The Fray, I came for the food and the parade. Nobody knew what time the parade started, so we staked a parade viewing spot about two-hours before. We then had an employee tell us right before the parade came rolling in, we needed to move behind a pair of trashcans. Which was fine, but then other people came in, and took our spot in front of us. A spot that we waited at for TWO BLOODY HOURS. And nobody told THEM to move. This is unacceptable. Traffic flow around the park, was a nightmare as well. A few employees standing around with signs, POINTING IN THE WRONG DIRECTION, didn't help matters much. We had a good time, but I will rethink another trip to Mardi Gras in the future. I'd hate to see how it is, when a bigger headliner is there. Anyway, some pics. Comments are closed.
