UNIVERSAL SHARES DETAILS ON SKULL ISLAND RIDE VEHICLES AND MORE

Greetings internet dwellers!

Late last night, Universal Orlando gave details on the Skull Island ride vehicles. For starters, these things are "YUGE." The cars will be 13 feet long, and 40 feet high. They weigh in at 17 tons, and will carry up to 72 people. The ride system will also be trackless. It is also Universal's first trackless ride. 

Universal also gave information on the drivers of these things. There will be one of five different drivers, that may accompany you on your tour of Skull Island. 

• Becky Callahan: The loose-cannon cowgirl who isn’t fazed by the dangers awaiting her on Skull Island.
• Will Denham: The fresh-faced, adventure-seeking younger cousin of famed movie director Carl Denham.
• Jinks Costanza: A hardened New York City ex-con who is wary of the island’s mysteries.
• Kalana: A mystical descendent of the natives who first settled on the island.
• Charles “Doc” Jordan: A PhD student in paleontology who took time off from his studies to explore the world.
